About The Position

The Environmental Compliance Project Manager completes environmental compliance program activities within a designated region. This role may have oversight in the following areas: fuel quality oversight, licensing and permitting, UST testing programs, and general regional environmental compliance efforts. The Project Manager is accountable for regulatory deadlines, vendor performance, issue resolution, and partnership with Operations, Legal, and Risk Management. What You'll Do: Fuel Quality Direct regional fuel sampling programs and quality investigations. Analyze trends, identify risks, and coordinate corrective actions. Manage vendor relationships and quality service level performance. Licensing & Permitting Manage all licenses and permits for the region, ensuring timely renewal and regulatory compliance. Resolve complex permitting issues and discrepancies. Maintain accurate regulatory records and reporting. Underground Storage Testing (UST) Oversee UST compliance testing, including tightness tests, line tests, spill/overfill inspections, and other mandated activities. Ensure timely issue resolution and mitigation of non compliant conditions. Support UST remediation efforts in partnership with Environmental and Operations teams. Environmental Compliance Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements (EPA, state environmental agencies, local jurisdictions). Lead response to environmental inspections and violations. Prepare required regulatory reports and documentation. What We're Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred). 2-4 years experience in compliance, environmental, or operations support roles. Proficiency with spreadsheets, tracking systems, and documentation tools. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred, proficiency in Excel, and Visio a plus. Requirements
