This is a high-impact role supporting one of EA's largest regional clients across multiple project sites and states in the Pacific Northwest. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental compliance and EHS roles.
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations.
- Practical experience in field inspections, environmental sampling, and regulatory audits.
- Proven ability to develop and manage complex environmental programs.
- Strong project management skills, including multitasking across multiple client sites and deliverables.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring staff and building high-performing teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of successful client management.
- Successful experience with business development, proposal writing, and client expansion.
Responsibilities
- Manage and drive environmental compliance initiatives from strategy to execution.
- Ensure program goals are met with a focus on quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
- Provide expert support on compliance topics such as: Industrial & municipal stormwater
- SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure)
- Waste management
- Wastewater operations
- Serve as the primary client liaison, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships.
- Lead development of key documents including SPCC Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, Discharge Monitoring Reports
- Mentor junior and mid-level staff in: Stormwater and industrial site inspections and sampling
- Waste management practices and documentation
- Compliance training delivery (SPCC, stormwater, waste, etc.)
- Regulatory audits, assessments, and corrective action plans
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Lead proposal development, budgeting, and scope preparation for RFPs and RFQs.
- Assist clients in achieving sustainability, climate resilience, and regulatory alignment goals.
