Atlantic Health is seeking a Full-Time Environmental Aide I (Housekeeping) for the Environmental Services Department at Chilton Medical Center. Required hours are: 6:00AM - 2:00PM, including weekends. Starting rate: $18.50/hr. The Environmental Service Department ensures the cleanest and safest health care environment for all team members, patients and visitors. Environmental Services is responsible for the cleaning and disinfection of common areas, outpatient areas, procedural areas, and patient rooms, including bathrooms, furniture, carpet/hard surface floors, vents, electronics and patient equipment. The team uses sanitizing processes of the highest quality required by multiple regulatory agencies. Often referred to as ‘the first line of defense against infection,’ the Environmental Service Department collaborates with the Atlantic Health System Infection Prevention and Quality Departments to ensure that there is consistent alignment at all sites.
