This role is crucial for ensuring the cleanest and safest healthcare environment for all team members, patients, and visitors. The Environmental Services Department is responsible for the cleaning and disinfection of common areas, outpatient areas, procedural areas, and patient rooms, including bathrooms, furniture, carpet/hard surface floors, vents, electronics, and patient equipment. The team utilizes high-quality sanitizing processes required by multiple regulatory agencies and collaborates with the Atlantic Health System Infection Prevention and Quality Departments to maintain consistent alignment across all sites. The position involves handling moderately complex issues and problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level staff, and includes cleaning of bodily fluids.
