About The Position
Palmdale Regional Medical Center, a 184-bed acute care hospital located in Palmdale, CA, is part of the Southwest Healthcare network and Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS). This position is for an Environmental Services Worker/Housekeeper at Palmdale Regional Medical Center. The role involves performing general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, healthy, and attractive environment for patients, visitors, and facility staff. Key duties include daily cleaning of patient rooms, discharge rooms, restrooms, non-patient areas, and public areas using prescribed cleaning procedures and universal precautions, as well as distributing linen to appropriate areas.
Requirements
- Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
- Basic organizational and computer skills.
- CPI is required within 30 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
