About The Position

Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center is a fully licensed, 182-bed, private hospital specializing in the treatment of drug addiction, mental health issues, and co-occurring disorders for adults and adolescents. This Environmental Services Worker/Housekeeper position is responsible for daily housekeeping routines, including cleaning patient rooms, offices, and public areas, while ensuring a safe and risk-preventive environment within OSHA regulations. Requirements

A minimum of one (1) year experience in housekeeping duties
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Knowledge of basic housekeeping duties
Knowledge of all code procedures
Knowledge of risk and safety precautions
Skill in organizing and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines
Skill in telephone etiquette and paging procedures
Effective oral and written communication skills
Sensitive and aware of diverse cultures and their practices

Nice To Haves

Experience in housekeeping duties in a health care facility
