About The Position

VHB's Water Resources group is growing across New England, and we're looking for a Water Resources Engineer to join its dynamic team of Water Resources specialists in Bedford, New Hampshire. We're looking for an early- to mid-career Water Resources Engineer to work with our existing water resource group and support our work in the areas of stormwater management and design, hydrology and hydraulics analysis, flood mitigation and management, culvert and bridge design, and resiliency efforts, among others. Our work supports public and private clients with resilient and sustainable solutions to their water resources challenges using innovative approaches. Responsibilities Work within a team of professionals in developing site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of environmental, land development, transportation, and water resources projects Conduct a wide array of water resources related studies and analysis including: Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of stormwater systems, analysis and design of conveyance systems, design of stormwater management facilities, coastal impacts, and floodplain analysis Conduct data collection and field work Prepare stormwater analyses, designs, and permit applications Support projects related to stormwater permitting compliance for municipal, industrial and transportation clients

Requirements

  • Minimum 0-1 years of professional water resources engineering experience
