BASIC OVERVIEW An entry level team member is typically an non-experienced individual working on a team with 2-3 more experienced landscapers. He/She typically has little to no knowledge of the green industry, but desires to grow to a more skilled level. This position takes direction on a daily basis from the team leader, performing the necessary tasks they request. We’re looking for a motivated, dependable team member to join our mowing, landscaping and/or hardscaping crew. This is an entry-level position, perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning hands-on skills, and being part of a hardworking team. No prior experience is required—we’re happy to train the right person.

Requirements

Willingness to learn and take direction
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Reliable transportation to the job site
A high school degree or GED is required
Valid Driver's License with insurable driving record
Can pass a background check
Reliable transportation to and from work
Candidate must be able to read and write in English legibly
Good oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Landscaping or construction experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Assist with landscaping tasks such as planting, mulching, trimming, and clean-ups
Support hardscaping projects including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor features
Load and unload materials and tools
Maintain a clean and safe job site
Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and professionally
Show up to work on-time and be dependable
Listen to direction and instructions carefully and perform tasks as requested by team leader
Perform work with passion and excellence
Learn from each new task
Follow company guidelines
Follow safety procedures set forth at the company and by team leader
