About The Position
We are seeking an Entry Level Tax Accountant to join our team at our Savannah, GA location. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about accounting and eager to grow their careers in a supportive environment. Our firm values work-life balance, especially during the busy tax season, as we do not require our employees to work on Saturdays. We believe in respecting family time and ensuring that our team members can enjoy their evenings without the stress of late-night work. As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing individual and business tax returns, assisting with month-end closing entries for small business accounting, and building strong relationships with clients. We encourage our accountants to get to know their clients personally, as we believe that understanding their needs leads to better service and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and be on track to obtain their CPA license. While prior experience in public accounting is preferred, we are open to candidates with 2-5 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with Thomson Reuters products and standard computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, will be beneficial.
