Entry Level Structural Engineer

VHB is seeking an entry level Structural Designer to join the established and growing Structures group in our Winooski, VT office. We are a dynamic, vibrant, and innovative team on the cutting edge with model-based bridge design. Requirements
- Perform design and detailing of a range of bridge types
- Perform inspections and load rating of vehicle, pedestrian, and railroad bridges
- Perform bridge scoping studies and alternatives analyses
- Utilize Bentley OpenBridge and OpenRoads software to prepare 3D designs for projects
- Calculate construction quantities and prepare cost estimates
- Develop construction contract documents and specifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering
- 0-1 years of structural engineering experience
