About The Position

Complete Technology Solutions is seeking an entry level Service Desk Technician in Sparta, IL (in other companies this person could hold the title of Technical Support, IT Support Technician I, Help Desk Support Specialist) to provide frontline technical support and resolve common IT issues for end users. This is an onsite position based in Sparta, IL. In this role, you will support end users by handling incoming service requests across systems such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking environments. You will troubleshoot common issues, document resolutions, and ensure timely ticket completion while delivering a strong customer experience. To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and a customer-first mindset when supporting end users. You should be highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and can think quickly to resolve issues in a fast-paced environment. Having a genuine desire to learn and grow in IT, combined with the ability to absorb new information and apply it effectively, is essential to succeeding on the service desk. Requirements

  • Any technical or help desk experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Handle high-volume service desk tickets such as password resets, account updates, and voicemail support
  • Provide desktop support including application troubleshooting and user setup
  • Assist with printer management and basic network-related issues
  • Support phone systems (VOIP) including password resets and schedule updates
  • Document all work performed and ensure tickets are resolved within expected timeframes
