About the position
1-800-GOT-JUNK? is currently hiring sales-focused individuals who like to stay active while working. As a member of the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? team, you will be partnered with a trainer and learn the ins and outs of our sales process, including call aheads, estimating, route planning, and also learn how to safely lift and handle large items, before being in charge of your own route! A day in the life starts with an energizing morning meeting, consolidating trucks, and hitting the road! You and your partner for the day will have anywhere from 4-7 jobs on your route, depending on the size of each job, and will also be dumping your trucks or bringing them back to the warehouse when you hit your truck capacity.
Responsibilities
- Learn the sales process including call aheads, estimating, and route planning.
- Safely lift and handle large items.
- Participate in morning meetings and truck consolidation.
- Manage a daily route with 4-7 jobs.
- Dump trucks or return them to the warehouse when full.
Requirements
- Must be over the age of 18.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Ability to lift more than 80 pounds by yourself.
- Enjoy sales and customer service.
- Availability to work at least one weekend day.
- Inner drive to continuously improve.
