About The Position
1-800-GOT-JUNK? is seeking enthusiastic, sales-focused individuals who thrive in an active work environment. As a member of our dynamic team, you will be paired with a trainer to gain comprehensive knowledge of our sales process. This includes essential skills such as making call-aheads, estimating job costs, and planning efficient routes. Additionally, you will learn the proper techniques for safely lifting and handling large items, ensuring that you are well-prepared to manage your own route effectively. A typical day begins with an energizing morning meeting where team members consolidate trucks and prepare for the day ahead. You and your partner will tackle a route that may include anywhere from 4 to 7 jobs, depending on the size and complexity of each task. As you progress through your day, you will be responsible for dumping your truck or returning it to the warehouse once you reach capacity. This role not only offers a stable base hourly pay but also provides opportunities for additional earnings through daily tips and profit sharing. Our team members typically earn between $24 and $28 per hour, with top performers exceeding $40 per hour based on their efforts and performance.
