Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited and 0+ years of experience.
  • Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong technical background.
  • Should be able to apply skills to the areas of radar modeling & simulation, antenna array theory, digital signal processing, tracking, algorithm development, and field testing of sensor systems.
  • Experience working with a team of engineers in solving difficult radar algorithm problems, peer reviewing new algorithms developed internally or obtained from industry.
  • Must have excellent teamwork skills and possess and show good fundamentals in the following: Digital signal processing, Tracker algorithms, MATLAB / Python, Radar Simulation and Modeling

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with radar simulation along with a strong background in statistics and probability.
  • Candidate with additional skills in the following is desired: Electromagnetics, Modern C++ development, Familiarity with Linux

Responsibilities

  • Candidate will support advanced technology radar programs including development of radar signal processors, radar tracking algorithms, advanced sensors in EW environments
  • simulation of radar systems
  • field-testing of RF sensors and systems
  • in addition to the deployment of advanced sensor systems.
  • In this role you will work closely with other skilled engineers as they deep-dive into existing algorithms to find areas for improvement in both performance and processing latency.
  • You will find newer algorithms available in literature to investigate and determine if they can provide improvements to the various radar programs.
