About The Position

The Project Manager I will perform various environmental due diligence projects focused on commercial real estate.

Requirements

• Previous experience performing environmental due diligence projects, such as Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) preferred
• Knowledge in assessing various property types (including but not limited to gas stations, dry cleaners, printing facilities, industrial and manufacturing sites, and automotive repair and body shops) preferred
• Basic understanding of commercial real estate lending and finance
• Excellent writing, organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills required
• Personable and able to communicate with people at all levels
• Willingness to travel as necessary
• Must be a self-starter, resourceful, and have the ability to work productively on multiple projects at a time under strict deadlines with guidance from senior staff
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, or related field
• Active driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• State regulatory knowledge is a plus
• Experience with Phase II Subsurface Investigations and/or Remediation Work is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat preferred
• Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training certification preferred
• AHERA / Asbestos Inspector, Radon and/or lead-based paint certifications preferred
