Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 - 10 years of Commercial Insurance due diligence insurance experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of private equity and M&A market trends
  • Ability to think critically, commercially, strategically and practically
  • Experience working independently and as part of large, cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to complete assigned projects by prescribed deadlines
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong organizational, time and client management skills
  • Resourceful self-starter who can work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are also required
  • Willingness to adopt a flexible time schedule and work style to meet the needs of a highly acquisitive organization
  • Availability to travel periodically as needed

Responsibilities

  • Manages the Commercial Insurance due diligence process from start to finish, including the communication with internal subject matter experts, clients (private equity deal team), target company c-suite executives, and other third-party deal advisors.
  • Prepares and presents reports on the Commercial Insurance and risk management programs of the proposed acquisition
  • Assembles relevant diligence information and analyze the quality of the insurance program commenting on coverage adequacy, uncovered risks, pricing as well as providing risk management recommendations.
  • Collects and compiles ongoing data uploads.
  • Works on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Works with specialized coverage and industry experts within HUB across North America to provide a written evaluation and recommendations to the potential buyer of the Target Company.
  • Reviews and analyzes financial statements of companies targeted for acquisition.
  • Provides assistance in the ongoing relationship management of our private equity clients
