787 Airframe Team in Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring for Entry level or Associate Structural Analysis Engineer (Structural Analysis) to work at our North Charleston, SC. Position Responsibilities: Perform structural analysis for composite and metallic material systems using well defined analysis tools. Support test execution and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Assist with supplier development, test and production activities and coordination with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals. Define and document certification and test results to substantiate compliance to customers’ and regulatory agencies’ (FAA, EASA, and other national agencies) requirements. Support production and provide technical solutions, including involvement in factory build, test and associated troubleshooting. Help develop new materials, methods, tools, and designs to support future programs. This position is expected to be 100% onsite and first shift. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the North Charleston, SC location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in one of the following engineering majors: Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Civil, and select Structures degrees
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  • Demonstrate engineering knowledge from team projects, internship(s), or job experience.
  • Structural or aerospace knowledge a plus.
