About The Position
787 Airframe Team in Boeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring for Entry level or Associate Structural Analysis Engineer (Structural Analysis) to work at our North Charleston, SC . We are looking for a proactive individual who can make prompt engineering decisions and who wants to go beyond their desk and into the factory for hands on engineering. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in one of the following engineering majors: Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Civil, and select Structures degrees
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrate engineering knowledge from team projects, internship(s), or job experience.
- Structural or aerospace knowledge a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis for composite and metallic material systems using well defined analysis tools.
- Support test execution and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
- Assist with supplier development, test and production activities and coordination with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.
- Define and document certification and test results to substantiate compliance to customers’ and regulatory agencies’ (FAA, EASA, and other national agencies) requirements.
- Support production and provide technical solutions, including involvement in factory build, test and associated troubleshooting.
- Help develop new materials, methods, tools, and designs to support future programs.
