About The Position

Radiance Technologies is seeking an Entry-level Microelectronics R&D Engineer to join their Electronic Systems and Cyber Technologies Group. The role involves technical research and microelectronics design with a focus on hardware security and testing. The engineer will collaborate with a multi-disciplined team to research microelectronic trends and hardware vulnerabilities, including hardware exploitation, side-channel attacks, and anti-tamper techniques. Key tasks include designing and testing printed circuit boards (PCBs), designing and simulating analog circuits, and prototyping designs on a field programmable gate array (FPGA). The ideal candidate will possess innovation, quick learning, excellent communication skills, adaptive thinking, and strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities. This position is for an applicant with a Bachelor's degree seeking a fall internship while pursuing a Master's or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, and requires working effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or relevant technical field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5 (Please list GPA on your resume to be considered)
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS security clearance
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to efficiently evaluate and solve problems
  • Must be self-motivated and work well on a team
