About The Position

The Entry-Level Manufacturing Supervisor supports daily operations on the production floor by overseeing a team of production employees, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met. This position is ideal for someone with leadership potential and a strong interest in manufacturing who is ready to grow into a supervisory role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or team lead role preferred (leadership experience a plus).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP systems preferred).
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proper PPE must be worn at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees to meet daily production schedules and quality goals.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing safety policies and conducting regular safety checks.
  • Ensure all employees follow safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Monitor workflow, troubleshoot issues, and assist in resolving production or equipment problems.
  • Assist in training and developing team members in proper machine operation, quality standards, and company procedures.
  • Communicate production goals, priorities, and expectations to team members.
  • Support training and cross-training of employees to ensure flexibility and skill development.
  • Track daily production metrics, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Review production reports, track performance, and provide feedback to improve productivity and quality.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to support smooth operations.
  • Encourage teamwork and accountability within the production crew, reinforcing our shared ownership culture.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures fairly and consistently.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on reducing waste, improving efficiency, and maintaining a clean and organized facility.
