About The Position

The Entry-Level Manufacturing Supervisor supports daily operations on the production floor by overseeing a team of production employees, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met. This position is ideal for someone with leadership potential and a strong interest in manufacturing who is ready to grow into a supervisory role.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or team lead role preferred (leadership experience a plus).
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP systems preferred).
Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a manufacturing environment.
Proper PPE must be worn at all times.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees to meet daily production schedules and quality goals.
Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing safety policies and conducting regular safety checks.
Ensure all employees follow safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Monitor workflow, troubleshoot issues, and assist in resolving production or equipment problems.
Assist in training and developing team members in proper machine operation, quality standards, and company procedures.
Communicate production goals, priorities, and expectations to team members.
Support training and cross-training of employees to ensure flexibility and skill development.
Track daily production metrics, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Review production reports, track performance, and provide feedback to improve productivity and quality.
Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to support smooth operations.
Encourage teamwork and accountability within the production crew, reinforcing our shared ownership culture.
Enforce company policies and procedures fairly and consistently.
Support continuous improvement efforts focused on reducing waste, improving efficiency, and maintaining a clean and organized facility.
