About The Position

SUMMARY: Become a part of our team as a Machinist! We are an oil and gas manufacturing facility seeking to enhance our team. In this role, you will operate CNC lathes and mills. We are looking for candidates who have a drive to learn and work as a team. WORK SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Requirements

Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company’s TRIR goals
Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company’s environmental performance goals
Complete, and actively participate in all the company’s Safety Skills training requirements
High School diploma or GED (CNC machine classes are a plus)
Strong communication skills, able to use and understand decimals, fractions and use measuring devices.
Candidates must be able to successfully pass a drug test and background check as part of the employment process.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of a shop or warehouse.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to safely bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at area.
Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand tools and mechanical tools.
Must be able to work at a fast pace.
Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions.
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

CNC machine classes are a plus

Responsibilities

Operate various CNC machines (lathes and mills)
Inspect and ensure the quality of finished products produced
Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness
Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed beyond the primary job scope
