About The Position

The position involves performing various tasks in a laboratory setting to support the analysis and testing processes. Responsibilities

• Perform miscellaneous tasks throughout the lab, including cleaning, ordering, discarding of solutions, and organizing supplies.
• Retrieve and return samples from sample storage.
• Learn to perform monthly maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Prepare samples for analysis and monitor instrumentation with minimum supervision.
• Clean and store instrumentation appropriately after use.
• Assist with the inventory process within the group.
• Perform a variety of organizational tasks to aid in the everyday functionality of the laboratory.
• Perform laboratory cleaning responsibilities of equipment and controlled rooms.
• Document work clearly and perform responsibilities accurately.
• Engage in special projects as necessary or as directed.
