This is an entry-level role perfect for recent graduates, career changers, or anyone looking to gain hands-on experience in fundraising, marketing, and public engagement. No prior experience is required — we provide paid training, mentorship, and professional development.
What You’ll Do
As a Fundraising Specialist, you’ll help nonprofits raise awareness and support through face-to-face outreach and live events. This role is people-focused and field-based, ideal for enthusiastic, outgoing individuals.

Requirements

• Are 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (college a plus but not required)
• Are outgoing, friendly, and thrive in public-facing roles
• Have strong communication and persuasion skills
• Are coachable, goal-driven, and eager to grow into leadership opportunities
• Are comfortable working some evenings and weekends for events

Nice To Haves

• Backgrounds in retail, hospitality, customer service, or events are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Represent nonprofit campaigns at community events, fundraisers, and outreach activations
• Engage with the public to share campaign goals and secure support
• Assist with donor outreach, lead generation, and campaign education
• Track interactions and campaign metrics using basic CRM tools
• Collaborate with team members to execute fundraising and engagement strategies
• Participate in paid training and ongoing professional development
