Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in utility field work, construction, renewables, surveying, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using field data collection tools.
  • Understanding of electrical distribution systems and safety protocols.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to work outdoors in various conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Field-Based Work: Conduct site visits to collect data, assess conditions, and support construction and installation activities.
  • Design Assistance: Help design overhead and underground electrical distribution systems.
  • Technical Analysis: Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and equipment sizing.
  • Documentation: Assist in preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and reports using AutoCAD and GIS tools.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and utility partners to ensure successful project execution.
  • Safety & Standards: Ensure all work complies with industry codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
