While this position requires both field and office work, the candidate should expect to spend up to 25% of their time in the field or traveling. As part of our Resilience Environment team, you’ll help improve quality of life. With your expertise in environmental engineering your work could involve a range of activities as directed and in accordance with relevant Health and Safety or other operational standards. A successful candidate: Will assist industrial, commercial and federal clients with air permitting, waste management, stormwater pollution prevention and permitting, spill preparedness and response, wastewater discharge permitting, and associated regulatory reports. Prepare emission calculations for regulated air pollutants and greenhouse gases. Support our due diligence team with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and report preparation. Will work on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously and candidates should possess strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. May provide field and office support of site investigations including soil, water, and vapor sample collection in all weather condition, remediation system operation, and site inspections. Engage in office work that may include task coordination, data compilation and interpretation, quality assurance/quality control reviews, cost estimates, health & safety plan preparation, report writing, regulatory file review, proposal support, project strategy development, scheduling and cost estimate preparation. The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills are also required.

Requirements

  • A BS in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline.
