Role description: Arcadis is seeking a self-starting, dynamic Civil Engineer / Environmental Engineer to support an expanding portfolio of projects throughout the United States. In this role, you will collaborate with scientists, engineers, project managers, and technical experts on various activities in support of civil design and environmental permitting projects for a diverse project portfolio, including projects in the energy, industrial, and transportation sectors associated with site development, reclamation, and restoration projects. The position will require familiarity with federal and state environmental permitting. Arcadis provides multiple onboarding and development programs created for our professionals that will expand career growth and help drive creativeness, innovation, and greater integration within our local, national, and global teams.

Requirements

  • BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related engineering discipline
  • Prior experience with soil erosion and sediment control (internship or full-time employment)
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, or other terrain modeling design software
  • ability to travel up to 20%

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship experience
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
  • Experience with engineering software tools such as HydroCAD, WinTR-55, PondPack, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS
