About The Position

LaBella Associates is looking for an entry level Engineer to join our Civil Division in our Buffalo, NY office. Job Duties Collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers and technical experts on a broad spectrum of projects, encompassing everything from large utility infrastructure projects and athletic fields to land development work and higher education facilities. Development of detailed construction drawings and specifications. Office based support performing construction phase submittal reviews and field change documents as needed Perform with site inspections during construction. Perform and prepare technical analysis documents, engineering calculations and design reports. Salary Range: $63,000 - $78,000 per year The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in civil engineering or related field experience.
  • 0 to 5 years of progressive civil engineering experience with a focus on land development design.
  • EIT or the ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • AutoCAD basic drafting capability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft productivity suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate efficiently with teammates in different disciplines.
  • Drivers license required
  • Possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects.
  • Ability and willingness to receive and understand instructions/guidance and complete tasks independently.
  • Ability to travel to different work sites as needed.
