About The Position

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Environmental Engineer to be based in our Fort Lauderdale, FL or Coral Gables, FL offices. This position will support our Remediation team within our Environment business line. This position is expected to begin as soon as possible. Job Overview: The Entry-Level Environmental Engineer will assist our Remediation team both in the field and in office, supporting soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to learn new skills and methods on challenging field and office assignments in a collaborative team environment. We are seeking motivated candidate who would like to develop and advance in a full-time environmental remediation career. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
  • Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Valid Driver's License and must be able to pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records review.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting environmental field work, including collecting soil, groundwater, and remediation system data, groundwater sampling, fluid level gauging and oversight of subcontractors.
  • Produce accurate and complete documentation of operation, inspections and compliance
  • Field document preparation, field data collection, processing and interpretation.
  • Supporting office tasks, including data analysis and report preparation.
  • Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance
  • Travel to project locations including driving and overnight stays.
