About The Position

MSI is seeking an Entry Level Communications Assistant to support event-based marketing campaigns and nonprofit outreach initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals interested in building a career in public relations, event communications, and community engagement.
This position focuses entirely on in-person events and face-to-face communication, helping promote brand awareness and support fundraising efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
• Strong interest in event marketing, public relations, or community outreach
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in face-to-face, event-based environments
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing live events, outreach campaigns, and promotional activations
• Communicate directly with the public to share information about client campaigns and initiatives
• Represent brands at events, community programs, and fundraising activities
• Help manage event setup, breakdown, and on-site logistics
• Support messaging efforts to ensure clear and consistent communication
• Work with team members to deliver a professional and engaging event experience
• Build relationships with event attendees and community members
• Provide feedback from events to help improve future campaigns
