About The Position

As a Communications Assistant, you’ll assist with planning, organizing, and executing events that engage communities and promote initiatives. You’ll be on the front lines, interacting with attendees, supporting logistics, and ensuring every event runs smoothly. This role provides practical experience in event operations, audience engagement, and community-based marketing.

Requirements

  • Strong in verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to multitask in fast-paced environments
  • Positive, proactive, and eager to learn
  • No prior experience required — training provided
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Support setup, execution, and breakdown of events, workshops, and community programs
  • Assist with event logistics, including registration, volunteer coordination, and attendee support
  • Engage directly with participants to share information about programs and initiatives
  • Track attendance and event participation metrics
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure events align with organizational goals
