About The Position

The Entry-Level Commissioning Agent at Olsson is responsible for ensuring that client facilities and buildings operate as intended. Requirements

• Minimum of an associate's degree in an electrical or mechanical discipline.
• Basic electrical knowledge is required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong desire for continuous learning and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and lead projects.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding construction drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Construction experience strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Previous commissioning experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Test and verify all installed electrical equipment on site, including power distribution units (PDUs), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), generators, and switchgear.
• Monitor daily commissioning processes and perform pre-functional and functional testing.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the commissioning process.
• Represent Olsson while working directly with clients, showcasing expertise and dedication.
