We are looking for an Entry Level Civil/Environmental Engineer to join our Community Design Team to improve infrastructure. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering and have zero to four years of related experience. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 90 days of employment. Typical responsibilities include: Design civil projects that may include water mains, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, roads, bridges, open drains, pedestrian pathways, parks, utility/miscellaneous infrastructure improvement designs, etc. Perform evaluations, and prepare design reports including opinion of construction costs Develop construction plans using local and state standards Review and interpret plans and specifications Prepare/assist with technical specifications and permit submittals Assist Project Managers with review of scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasks Self-monitor task budgets and progress Document design changes and communications Conduct on-site inspections and field evaluations as needed for design purposes Prepare project status reports, technical memorandums and other written correspondence Assist in the preparation of proposals and scope of work Assist Project Managers as needed Attend client, public, project and staff meetings Maintain excellent client relations Maintain a safe working environment
