About The Position

We are looking for an Entry-Level Engineer to join our ICE team to improve infrastructure in our Pittsburgh or Columbus offices. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and zero to three years of experience. Completion of Part I of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation In Roads is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication/coordination skills are essential. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 30 days of employment. Typical responsibilities include: Design various natural gas projects Prepare design and construction plans using local and state standards Coordinate preparation of permit submittals Prepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities Assist with/review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasks Monitor task budget and progress Document design changes and communications Administrative tasks Conduct on-site inspections as needed Assist in survey tasks Develop field inventory of gas facilities Prepare project status and other reports Assist in the preparation of proposals Assist Project Managers Attend client, public, project, and staff meetings including: client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc. Attend seminars and/or training classes Maintain excellent client relations Maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
0 - 3 years of related experience required
Strong written and verbal communication/coordination skills are essential

Nice To Haves

Completion of Part I of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam preferred
