Requirements

Must be able to lift 70 pounds continuously.
Must be able to work on a ladder all day.
Must be able to take direction and have the desire to learn the communications trade.
Knowledge of tool use and experience using hand tools.
Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical card for Commercial Motor Vehicle operation is required.
A current Driver’s License and able to be approved to drive a company vehicle is required
Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.

Nice To Haves

Low voltage cable pulling and labeling experience helpful.
Current Commercial Driver’s License is a plus.
Mechanical aptitude is desired.

Responsibilities

Installing cabling Inside Plant and Outside Plant
pulling wire in conduit
placing cable in ceiling and floor system zones
terminating cable both copper and fiber optic
Installing cable tray, communications racks and grounding systems
Lacing cables and knowledge of industry standards.
