About The Position
We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Entry Level Carpenter to join a growing construction team in the Omaha area! This is a great opportunity to build your skills alongside experienced tradespeople in both residential and commercial environments. Requirements
- Some carpentry or general construction experience preferred — but we will train the right person
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong work ethic, punctual, and a team player attitude
Responsibilities
- Assisting journeyman carpenters with framing, forming, rough and finish carpentry tasks
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other building materials according to blueprints and work orders
- Installing structures and fixtures such as walls, floors, doors, and cabinetry across residential and commercial job sites
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times
- Properly handling and caring for tools, equipment, and materials on site
- Following all safety guidelines and OSHA standards
