About The Position

We are an international, growth-oriented technology company with offices in Dublin, Ireland; Tokyo, Japan; Seoul, South Korea; and Beijing & Shenzhen, China. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals beginning their accounting careers. In addition to core accounting duties, the successful candidate will support treasury operations, helping manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Basic understanding of GAAP and financial principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Intacct and/or Business Central)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the accounting and treasury functions

Nice To Haves

  • Internship or prior experience in accounting or treasury
  • Familiarity with cash flow forecasting and banking platforms
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing reports and journal entries
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Support new vendor onboarding
  • Responsible for administrative setup of Concur for expense reporting
  • Complete analysis of employee expenditures and approve expense reports for payments
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations
  • Assist with audits and internal reviews
  • Help with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data
  • Support treasury operations including daily cash management and forecasting
  • Assist in maintaining banking relationships and monitoring bank activity
  • Help ensure internal controls over cash and liquidity are followed
  • Contribute to reporting on cash positions and short-term investments
