Your internship begins with your key project assignment and concludes with a final presentation of your results to members of Senior Leadership. This role focuses on workflows, process procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

  • Must be actively pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate degree at an accredited institution, or must be a recent graduate (internship within six months of graduation date).
  • Current class standing of Sophomore or above.
  • Must be willing to work in Universal City, California and in Glendale, California.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, & holidays.
  • Must be willing to submit a background check investigation. An official educational transcript may be required upon request.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
  • For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.
  • Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete an I-9 form within 3 days of hire.
  • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

Nice To Haves

  • Rising Junior, rising Senior, or recent graduate preferred.
  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above. Specific departments may require a higher GPA.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to self-start and streamline.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with professional communication at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to learn new software quickly. Experience in database or project management software (e.g. Wrike) is preferred.
  • Live theater background is a plus.
