About The Position

Responsible for the load in, set up and operation of professional concert and AV equipment in throughout all of the performance venues, special event locations and other pop-up entertainment events at all Agua Caliente Casino properties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in live concert or event production.
  • Experience with setup of professional concert lighting and spotlight operation.
  • Experience in broadcast camera operation for professional events.
  • Experience with audio patching, stage splits and cable management.
  • Excellent understanding of professional sound reinforcement components such as mixing consoles, I/O’s, microphones, direct boxes, stage snakes, IEM’s and the uses of each.
  • Advanced understanding of 3-phase stage power and hook-up and disconnect of camlock power connectors.
  • Basic understanding of rigging and associated equipment required for safe rigging in a performance venue.
  • Must be able to communicate in English.
  • To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ miles, climbing stairs, and sitting at desk/workstation for the duration of the shift.
  • Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
  • Must be able to work in a “lighting subdued” environment for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work around bright lights, including strobe lights.
  • Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions to include extreme heat and cold weather.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment to include entertainment venues.
  • Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of networking and audio/video over network connections is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of video switching and camera shading is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Yamaha Rivage, Yamaha CL-5, Midas M-32, Behringer X-32, Behringer Wing, Grand MA3 and Grand MA2 is a plus.
  • Capable of passing scissor lift and forklift training and testing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the load-in and load-out of all equipment and staging as required.
  • Assist in the technical setup of the stage, including but not limited to audio patching, light patching, truss building, riser/stage building, cable management, etc.
  • Assist department heads as needed in audio, lighting and video setup and operation.
  • Assist Production Manager or Production Supervisor with maintenance and service as needed.
  • Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, ACC Internal Controls and Standard Operating Procedures
