About The Position

At Spectrum Retirement Communities, the Entertainment Coordinator plays a key role in enhancing the lives of residents by assisting in the development, planning, implementation, and execution of various activities. This includes creating the monthly activity calendar, arranging for performers, organizing seminars, and maintaining the resident library. A crucial part of the role involves providing transportation for residents to events, which includes safely driving the community vehicle and assisting residents with entering and exiting the vehicle. This is a part-time position with a varied schedule, offering an hourly wage between $16.50 and $18.00.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must have a valid driver's license, a clean motor vehicle records, and at least 3 years of driving experience.
The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with residents, family members, and other team members.
Must be self-motivated, organized, and professional.
Must be able to work independently and handle multiple tasks at one time.
Strong customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

Assisting the development, planning, implementation, the execution of the activities for residents.
Assisting in the development of the monthly calendar, procuring performers, providing seminars, and maintaining the resident library.
Driving residents to events, assisting residents to enter and exit the community vehicle.
