About The Position

The Entertainment Admin Assistant will provide the administrative and logistical support necessary to successfully execute the casino’s premier entertainment offerings and special events. Starting wage is $30.00/hr,. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Two years of administrative experience
  • All applicants must obtain and maintain a Class III A license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
  • Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions; marijuana use will not disqualify an applicant unless the role requires operating a company vehicle.

  • Promotion or event planning experience
  • Entertainment support or Event coordination experience
  • Experience working with tribal entities
  • Gaming experience
  • Additional education/experience may substitute for the minimum requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the casino’s event center.
  • Assist in the execution of all concerts and events both on and off site.
  • Provide onsite operational event support as necessary including set up and breakdown.
  • Assist in the organization of casino promotional events as needed.
  • Maintain updated event timelines, task assignments, and coordination notes to ensure progress and deadline visibility.
  • Assist in the completion of contracts and riders for scheduled events including the execution of rider requirements and performer hospitality needs.
  • Assist with ticketing support including tracking and reporting.
  • Process outgoing mail, and sorts, distributes, and routes incoming mail.
  • Maintain meeting and event calendars, scheduling meetings as necessary.
  • Distribute and post office correspondence, reports, and memos.
  • Complete accurate department documents and maintains all historical records.
  • Maintain division supplies, inventories stock, places orders, and verifies receipt.
  • Coordinate and communicate event schedules with other departments including each department’s responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
