How you will make history here… As a leader within Campbell's Enterprise Food Safety & Quality team, this position is responsible for development of Enterprise Sanitation strategy and objectives and provides technical expertise to Campbell's internal and external manufacturing network. This position is responsible for leading the development, assessment, and compliance of and to company-wide sanitation programs, policies and practices. The position is also responsible for supporting Sanitation program implementation and driving sanitation continuous improvement, training, vendor performance, operational savings, and uniformity of practice across business units. This includes managing the Corporate Sanitation team and their priorities and guiding Plant Sanitarians to drive effectiveness and efficiency. This role requires master level subject matter expertise in product safety, hygienic design, sanitation and pest management in addition to external linkages through professional associations and network. The Sanitation Director engages other functional groups such as Operations, Quality, Food Safety - Microbiology, and Engineering to drive sanitation strategic objectives. The role is critical in leading crisis management as it relates to the Sanitation program, hygienic design and pest management through the manufacturing workstreams. The Sanitation Director will have direct interaction with senior level Vice Presidents and Directors across the Enterprise including Global Engineering, Corporate Procurement, Supply Chain and Quality leaders, requiring extraordinary communication and influencing skills. The Sanitation Director will interface with appropriate external associations and regulatory agencies including FDA, USDA, OSHA, CDC and EPA, to influence legislation, build networks, create benchmarking opportunities, and align our Company with the best in class in Food Safety and Sanitation.
