Partner with the best The Security business is a highly skilled team with deep knowledge across enterprise networking, security, access, and digital business transformation. You will collaborate with the broader Akamai sales organization and channel ecosystem to drive net-new growth in a category-defining space. As a Senior Major Account Executive, New Accounts, you will be responsible for: Identifying, developing and qualifying leads within driving sales opportunities through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation and social selling techniques. Traveling may be up to 50% of the time to expos, events and customer visits. Leading the Enterprise Security agenda internally and externally Building and executing a territory plan targeting CISOs, CIOs, and VP-level security leaders Running a 100% hunter motion focused on landing new enterprise logos Bringing enterprise domain expertise (infrastructure, applications, networking, security) to C-suite conversations
