About The Position

Behind every decision is a risk-explore Enterprise Risk and help shape the future of banking! Our internship program offers hands-on experience and a unique opportunity to learn the core principles of the financial services industry. Over the course of this 10-week program, interns will gain exposure to key banking areas and processes and how they function across departments. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, build valuable skills, and explore career paths in banking.

Requirements

• College students or rising high school graduates with a minimum 3.0 GPA or better
• Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
• Energetic, organized, detail-oriented with proficiency in Microsoft 365 (including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams) and comfort using modern workplace technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective in both one-on-one and group settings
• Independent worker
• Ability to dedicate 35-40 hours per week to this intern program
• Ability to work in-office in Greenville, SC
• Must be able to pass a criminal background and credit check

Responsibilities

• Participate in Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) to evaluate and document key risks and controls.
• Assist with updating risk documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Support the team in preparing quarterly dashboard metrics that highlight risk trends and performance.
• Collaborate with ERM professionals to learn best practices in enterprise risk oversight and reporting.
