Position Summary Early-in-career risk management position that supports the activities of CVS Health’s Enterprise Risk Management program. In partnership with and under the direction of the Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), help develop and maintain systems and processes for the management and execution of ERM-related program regulatory requirements, both domestically and internationally. This role is expected to build and manage relationships across diverse functions, facilitating cross-functional projects and serving as a proactive partner to senior leaders and subject matter experts. We are seeking a detail-oriented, intellectually curious self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and is motivated by building relationships, learning continuously, and driving results.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of project management experience (or comparable education/certifications)
  • 1+ years in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact and influence at various levels of the organization
  • Experience leading discussions and driving progress with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail with a track record of accuracy and thoroughness
  • Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn about evolving enterprise risks, regulations, and business processes
  • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to independently identify and pursue areas for impact and to recognize and resolve issues
  • Foundational knowledge of health care industry and/or accounting/finance principles
  • Bachelor’s Degree focused in business or liberal arts, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate regulatory filing completion, partnering with teams across CVS Health to update and continuously improve content
  • Review new Enterprise Risk Management related business compliance requirements, conduct research, and develop recommendations to help develop compliant ERM practices
  • Maintain documentation and data within the designated project management and tracking tools
  • Build and maintain positive, productive relationships with internal and external constituents, fostering collaboration and open communication to inform projects, provide status updates, and address issues
  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional project initiatives, often serving as the point of contact and discussion leader with subject matter experts and business leaders
  • Utilize systems unique to job functions, including Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PPT) and compliance-specific tools such as Archer; maintain system documentation, serve as subject matter expert, train users of system, contribute to system design, oversight, or maintenance
  • Support Quantitative team with research for stress scenario development and execution, International regulatory requirements, and communication packages
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in managing documentation, data integrity, and regulatory submissions
  • Proactively seek opportunities to streamline processes, ask thoughtful questions, and recommend improvements
  • Take ownership of assignments, driving projects forward with minimal supervision
  • Support ongoing ERM initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned
