About The Position

Enterprise Reporting Data Scientist The Opportunity: The Business Analytics team sits within Booz Allen’s CIO organization. We are responsible for building and maintaining actionable and automated Tableau dashboards, alerts, data models, data queries, and other data solutions for internal and client-facing business leaders. We partner with teams across the organization on initiatives to drive strategy and improve enterprise reporting capabilities. Our data solutions evolve to meet emerging business priorities. This is a highly visible role where you will be present and interact with senior leaders. You’ll have an opportunity to make a measurable and meaningful impact on the success of our company by building innovative, AI-enabled data solutions that leaders leverage daily to make decisions about contracts, staffing, risk mitigation, and more. In this role, you will develop partnerships with business leaders to understand, document, prioritize, and solve their company-wide reporting requirements. Equipped with communication, project management, data modeling, and data visualization expertise, you will collaborate within your immediate team of data scientist and data engineers to transform disparate data sources and reports into meaningful data solutions. You’ll also own existing enterprise dashboards, which you’ll update, troubleshoot, and enhance over time. This is a highly collaborative role that requires critical thinking, creative solutions, and a can-do attitude when faced with complex analytical challenges. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with data preparation and automation, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience working with Data Lake technologies such as Azure Data Lake or AWS
  • Experience with leveraging AI and automation technologies to drive innovation and enhance business intelligence solutions
  • Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation, and with agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts and techniques
  • Knowledge of ETL or ELT processes and data integration methodologies
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work effectively independently or with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail, including data accuracy and quality
  • Ability to adapt to evolving business needs and technological changes, and translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • U.S. citizenship is required
