About The Position

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking an experienced Enterprise Project Manager to lead multiple high-priority IT initiatives within a large public-sector healthcare environment. This role is ideal for a senior project manager who thrives in complex, change-driven projects and enjoys collaborating across business units and vendor teams. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder communication, and delivery of medium to large-scale projects with a strong focus on quality and timeliness.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of professional project management experience
  • 1–3+ years managing IT projects within a healthcare or insurance environment
  • Strong project planning experience, including effort estimation and resource allocation
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects concurrently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools, including: MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) – Required
  • Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Medicaid systems or healthcare delivery platforms
  • Background in healthcare claims or insurance-related IT projects
  • Strong risk management expertise, including defining risk triggers
  • Ability to create comprehensive project documentation and artifacts
  • Effective listener with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Comfortable presenting to executive-level audiences

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple IT projects simultaneously
  • Assist in the development and validation of business requirements
  • Create, maintain, and execute detailed project plans
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines
  • Provide clear, concise project status updates (written and verbal)
  • Prepare project documentation, metrics, and management artifacts
  • Collaborate with internal teams, leadership, and external vendors
  • Present project updates and recommendations to executive stakeholders
  • Perform additional project-related duties as required
