About The Position

The Enterprise IT Support Engineer I –A/V is responsible for the support and troubleshooting of all A/V equipment and A/V enabled spaces which includes: conference room MTR systems, larger training room systems, and production ready auditoriums. This hybrid role will also support network needs that pertain to AV systems. The ideal candidate will be well versed in A/V operations and troubleshooting with both integrated systems and live event operations.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in IT related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Three or more years of A/V experience in a corporate or professional environment
  • Prior experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms or related product configuration management
  • Proficient with audio visual components, integrations, management and design
  • Solid understanding of IP networking
  • Experience with running audio visual systems for events: Audio, Video, Lighting, and Web Stream.
  • US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications (CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I)
  • One or more years of experience with MTR VTC infrastructure including software and hardware management
  • Extensive experience working with QSYS control systems

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup, testing, operation, and tearing down of audio visual equipment; e.g. video conferencing equipment, microphones, cameras, audio systems, and operation of integrated A/V systems.
  • Meet with internal and external customers to gather meeting requirements, provide customers overview of their A/V options and make recommendations
  • Coordinate, test, run and troubleshoot hybrid and fully remote VC meetings and events
  • Coordination and participation in design, installation, configuration and commissioning of AV integrated systems
  • Run Help request problem tickets
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses AV system malfunctions to eliminate problems quickly, partnering with our vendor for issues that require escalation
  • Track and maintain stock levels of A/V equipment
