About The Position

The Enterprise IT Project Manager plays a critical role in planning, organizing, managing, tracking and maintaining status of multiple projects within the business; executing projects which bridge business requirements with technological solutions. You will plan out project execution, timelines and schedules, and assess resource workload. You will monitor project performance – keeping metrics on schedule, cost, risks, opportunities, and deliverables. The IT Project Manager should be able to foresee, mitigate and plan around resource constraints - understanding impacts to the business and other project priorities within our timeline and roadmaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project / Program Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years proven successful project / program management track record and experience
  • Strong skills in scheduling, risk management and the use of status reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software systems, and agile methodologies.
  • Familiar with agile methodologies, with a hands-on approach to iterative project development and delivery.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics and statuses in an easily digestible manner.
  • Able to manage and adapt to transformative changes within large organizations, documenting and triaging any changes which impact project performance, goals and timeline
  • Meticulous requirements documentation.
  • Detailed project planning and scheduling based on resource availability

Nice To Haves

  • Certification such as PMP or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with EVMS and usage of project organization and planning tools such as Jira or Microsoft Project

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with IT project team to plan the development and release of new systems and features, ensuring a smooth transition from requirements gathering and design through to implementation, testing and deployment.
  • Develop project and deployment plans, as well as a framework for managing change control accounting for defect resolution.
  • Incorporate resource constraints and project prioritization within plans and schedules
  • Track deliverables, milestones and deadlines for each project and interface with responsible parties on delivery and quality of work product
  • Maintain up to date information on project cost, schedule and technical statuses
  • Identify and track project execution risks – staffing constraints, technical issues, budgetary overages, potential schedule deviation, external factors influencing project progression
  • Develop plans to mitigate and burn down potential risks and capture benefits of potential opportunities
  • Identify resources across projects, ensuring optimal utilization and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Develop reporting tools, dashboards, and performance metrics to monitor project outcomes.
  • Provide leadership with clear, concise, and level-appropriate communication on project statuses
  • Lead project status and update meetings, and workshops that keep project teams on-track, informed and engaged.
