We seek a highly experienced, technically proficient, and extremely collaborative Enterprise Integration Architect with a strong focus on MuleSoft and a proven track record of implementing value-add AI platforms to join our dynamic IT team and help mature our integration strategy, improve technical standards, mentor team members, and serve on our AI steering committee. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable, and secure integration & AI solutions across our enterprise systems. This role requires a deep understanding of integration patterns, API-led connectivity, the full MuleSoft Anypoint Platform suite, and AWS AI/ML services.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, AI/ML, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in IT architecture with 5+ years in MuleSoft architecture and AI/ML implementations.
Deep knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Designer, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and DataWeave.
Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture methodologies and modeling tools (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate, Sparx EA, and MEGA).
Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, including model development, LLMs, vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
Hands-on experience managing architectural artifacts (roadmaps, capability models, blueprints).
Strong understanding of data architecture, MLOps, and model observability.
Experience with cloud-native architecture (e.g., AWS, Azure, and GCP) and hybrid integration models.
Proficient in RESTful API design, RAML/OpenAPI specifications, and event-driven architecture.
Strong knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD processes related to integration delivery.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Define, evangelize, and evolve the enterprise integration strategy and roadmap, aligning with business objectives and technology trends, leveraging the Sparx Enterprise Architect (EA) toolset for documentation.
Design and develop comprehensive integration architectures using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API designs, integration flows, and data models.
Align IT strategy with business goals by developing and implementing architecture frameworks and roadmaps.
Ensure that the integration architecture adheres to industry standards and regulatory compliance and maintains security protocols.
Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies and platforms that can enhance business operations.
Ensure integration solutions adhere to best practices for security, performance, scalability, and maintainability, and enforce integration development standards, guidelines, and naming conventions.
Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams.
Serve as the subject matter expert for MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, Design Center, and Analytics.
Define and maintain the enterprise AI strategy, roadmap, and architectural standards.
Establish AI governance frameworks, including model lifecycle management, ethical AI principles, and auditability.
Align AI initiatives with business capabilities, data strategy, and enterprise architecture.
Oversee development of reusable AI components, prompt libraries, and model registries.
Collaborate with data engineering & cybersecurity teams to build scalable & secure pipelines enabling AI-driven use cases.
Serve on the AI Steering Committee as a technical advisor.
Develop internal education, documentation, and guidelines for responsible AI usage.
Mentor and coach teams adopting generative AI and automation technologies.
