Requirements

  • Must have a Master’s’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and 0 months of experience in Employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and completion of a university level course, research project, internship, or thesis or one year of experience in the job offered, including experience in: Java, Python, R or other functional programming languages
  • Preparing technical documentation including training, process flows, system structure, or network deployment architecture
  • Mulesoft, OIC, or Boomi
  • Current and emerging Integration technologies

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing integrations between various Ciena's enterprise applications by leveraging Mulesoft and Oracle SOA platforms.
  • Stay up to date with newest technologies, have ownership, be self-motivated and be proactive.
  • Responsible for development of integrations using Mulesoft and Oracle SOA Suite.
  • Collaboratively work with integration team members to develop reusable services around error handling, logging, and monitoring.
  • Manage relationships through effective communication with key collaborators, service, delivery, and business teams.
  • Work closely with vendors to understand product roadmaps and costs.
  • Keep abreast with industry activity and standards from the enterprise integration perspective.
  • Stay agile and respond to constantly evolving priorities.
  • Maintain peer relationships across IT areas (business applications, infrastructure, operations, network, security, etc.) to support effective implementations.
  • Take ownership and ensure production move up process is done in a repeatable, coordinated, and flawless manner.
  • Responsible for staying on top of rapid technical changes within the field.
